Mobile speed cameras are being deployed across Somerset this week in an attempt to deter those breaking the law. Police are cracking down on speeders in an effort to improve road safety.
Units will be in place around the county, monitoring the speeds of motorists and catching those who exceed the limit. The force have provided a breakdown of this week's locations.
Motorists who break the speed limit run the risk of a fine, penalty points or having to attend a speed awareness course, while serious violations could see them in court. Speeding is one of the fatal four driving dangers, the others are mobile phone use, not wearing a seatbelt and drink and drug driving.
