As a local, who has been living in another country for decades, I still visit Brunei quite regularly. More often than not, I’ll bring along my husband and teenage sons for a one-week stay.
While a 20-gigabyte SIM card is more than enough for me and my husband, my sons can easily use up the data within a day or two.
I’ve only been back for a few days and I have already topped up a couple times, with a few more on the horizon.
Perhaps authorities could consider adding higher data options to their tourist SIM cards for visitors travelling with tech-savvy children?
