Sculptural, Organic Housing Development Unveiled in Dubai
A sculptural housing development inspired by tulips and designed by architect Tariq Khayyat has been unveiled in Dubai. Hollywood director Brian De Palma is trying out a new number on his Manhattan home. His Greenwich Village pad near Washington Square Park has been on and off the market for more than a year. And now, the director of acclaimed films such as “Scarface” and “The Untouchables,” has reduced the price by a modest $50,000. Home on Australia’s Gold Coast Featured in ‘The Bachelor’ up for Auction
A luxurious estate in Australia’s Gold Coast known as “The Bachelor” mansion, because of its starring role on the reality show this year, has hit the market. The Broadbeach Waters property was at the epicenter of the action when filming moved from Sydney to the Gold Coast last year to mark a decade of the show being on air. Located on the city’s well-known Monaco Street, the double-story Beverly Hills-style home last sold in October 2021 for A$14.5 million (US$9.48 million), the highest sale on record in the suburb. Tampa’s Luxury Home Market Is Still Booming
Luxury home sales around Florida’s Tampa Bay area have been robust in the face of high interest rates and stubborn home prices. Sales growth in the luxury segment outpaced the wider market in Tampa, according to September data from Greater Tampa Realtors. Deals for single-family homes priced at $1 million or more surged 62% compared to a year ago, while condo sales at that price point quadrupled year over year. By comparison, the single-family homes of all price points rose only 8.3% in September compared to a year ago. Tampa Bay Times
