Two years after being acquired by Capgemini, Cambridge Consultants has updated its branding. The firm became part of Capgemini Invent in 2021, and the firm’s new corporate identity aims to illustrate the new possibilities this opens up.
“Today’s brand launch signifies an important next step in Cambridge Consultants’ future. We’ve spent the last six decades helping some of the world’s biggest brands and most ambitious start-ups to realise their technology aspirations through innovation, and we intend to continue delivering on this promise within the Capgemini Group,” explained Eric Wilkinson, CEO of Cambridge Consultants.
He added that the new visual identity not only reflects the firm’s heritage, but also brings the work it does now to life. With a key focus on recruitment for the year ahead, the firm hopes that the brand overhaul will help attract the best talent to meet increased demand for its services.
Based in the English city it takes its name from, Cambridge Consultants has additional offices in the US, Singapore, and Japan, with has more than 800 engineers, scientists, designers, and consultants on its roster.
In 2020, Cambridge Consultants’ parent company, Altran, was acquired by Capgemini. A year later, Cambridge Consultants joined the digital innovation wing of the group, Capgemini Invent, providing it with the backing of a global business consultancy, and 325,000 team members in more than 50 countries.
Along with a re-styled logo, Cambridge Consultants has also unveiled a new brand platform for its clients, staff, and wider stakeholder communities. The platform features a bold vision statement, “We believe in a future unconstrained by current thinking,” along with a new company visual identity. This is designed to complement the company’s service offering, while aligning with the Capgemini’s broader mission to leverage technology to “get the future you want”.
Cyril Garcia, CEO of Capgemini Invent and Capgemini Group Executive Board Member, commented, “Cambridge Consultants is a leading example of the culture of breakthrough innovation within Capgemini Invent. As Cambridge Consultants goes from strength-to-strength as part of the Capgemini family, this inspiring new visual identity signals their commitment to creativity and new thinking around business challenges.”
“We will continue to expand our end-to-end intelligent industry offerings, and explore opportunities in growth areas such as artificial intelligence and quantum technology. Cambridge Consultants will play a key part in shaping this thinking.”
