SNOQUALMIE PASS, WA — Western Washington has a new option for outdoor winter fun this year after a new Sno-Park opened this month at Annette Lake. Washington State Parks and the U.S. Forest Service unveiled the new recreation area this week, located just off exit 47 on Interstate 90, west of the Snoqualmie summit.
The Annette Lake Sno-Park features marked trails for snowshoeing and backcountry skiing, along with a plowed parking lot with space for more than 40 vehicles, a restroom, and an information kiosk. Parking requires a seasonal or single-day permit, which visitors can purchase online or through a vendor.
Annette Lake joins several other Sno-Parks along the I-90 corridor, including Gold Creek and Hyak.
