How hope inspires us

Dear Mr. Com,
At their best, the holidays bring a message of hope. The coming of a new year allows us to begin a fresh chapter in our life’s story, full of the kind of determination that can lead to positive change.
Recently, I had the wonderful opportunity to sit down and really dig in with polar explorer (and Silver Endeavour godmother) Felicity Aston. She inspired me with her ideas on what comes next for our planet, where environmental concerns manifest themselves in ways that increasingly affect our daily life.
Hope is the heartbeat of optimism, a powerful agent of change. Embracing it sends a message to our children and grandchildren. It just might be the most important gift we ever give to those we love most.
Stay curious.
Warmest Regards, |

AN EXPLORER LOOKS TO OUR FUTURE |
|
She’s skied across Antarctica alone. Has led all-female expeditions in some of the most challenging environments on Earth. And understands what’s at risk for our planet. Felicity Aston, who last month christened Silversea’s new-to-fleet Silver Endeavour, is a realist who believes humans can do better for Mother Earth, not just because we must but also because we can.
