The opening date has been revealed for Kent's first ever Taco Bell .
The Mexican-inspired restaurant will open its doors on Wednesday, May 15 in Chatham Dockside.
It will run from 11am to 11pm every day, seat 30 diners and be on the site of the old Wok and Go, in Unit Two of The Quays.
Kent Police urge people not to approach these 4 most wanted men
Last year an application bearing the Taco Bell branding was submitted and approved by Dartford Borough Council – only for nothing to materialise.
However, it looks like Kent will not have to wait much longer for its own branch.
Lucy Dee, marketing lead of Taco Bell UK, said: “We’re really pleased to be opening a Taco Bell in Chatham – it’s a place we’ve had our eye on for a while.
"The Quays has a high footfall of those looking for entertainment and of course a bite to eat, providing us with the perfect spot to expand our portfolio in the area.
"We look forward to welcoming even more Taco Bell fans and first-timers through our doors.
"To kick off the celebrations in style, we’re giving away a free Taco Bell t-shirt to the first 100 customers through our doors!”
