MINSK, 7 June (BelTA) – More than a third of Belarusian industrial enterprises see new opportunities for their further development, BelTA learned from Business Constraints and Opportunities in the Current Environment, a study published by the Research Economic Institute of the Belarusian Economy Ministry.
More than 440 managers of industrial, construction and retail organizations of all forms of ownership from all regions of the country were surveyed.
Changes in the economic situation since February 2022 had a negative impact on 44.6% of respondents, and a positive impact on 8.2%. About half of the respondents did not notice any changes.
However, a year later business sentiment has changed. One-third of respondents (28.8%) are optimistic about the future and see new opportunities for development. In particular, 35.5% of respondents see positive prospects for their own company in the industry.
