Chris Duhamel, Principal at DiPrete Engineering, has begun his term as President of the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) as the 2022-23 President. Duhamel began his term at the conclusion of the organization’s 101st annual meeting, held August 23–26 in Carlsbad, California.
A resident of Westerly, Rhode Island, Duhamel has served as a member of the Rhode Island State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers since 2008 and is a past board president and secretary and current vice president. Duhamel also serves on the Westerly Town Council for 18 years and is a URI Adjunct Professor for the Civil Engineering Capstone Design Course.
As President of NCEES, Duhamel has established primary goals to support NCEES’ mission on a national level including outreach to the public, assisting members of the military, expanding licensure mobility, and addressing threats to licensure that undermine public protection.
“We are all very proud of Chris and his accomplishments over the years,” said Dennis DiPrete, President of DiPrete Engineering. “Chris takes a leadership position in everything that he is involved in. This is a prestigious organization that is important to the engineering profession nationally and having Chris as its president is an outstanding accomplishment. His ongoing dedication to the engineering profession is inspiring and has made many positive impacts on our firm.”
NCEES is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing professional licensure for engineers and surveyors. NCEES develops, administers, and scores the examinations used for engineering and surveying licensure in the United States. It also facilitates professional mobility and promotes uniformity of the U.S. licensure processes through services for its member licensing boards and licenses.
Eileen Rose Named New Chief Financial Officer at R.I. Infrastructure Bank
Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank, the state’s central hub for financing infrastructure improvements for municipalities, businesses, and homeowners, today announced that Eileen Rose has been named the Bank’s new Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer.
“Eileen brings more than 30 years of experience as a certified public accountant, certified internal auditor, and IT systems expert to the table, and we’re thrilled to have her join the Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank team as our new CFO/COO,” said Jeffrey R. Diehl, Executive Director and CEO of the Infrastructure Bank. “Her deep financial and operational experience will be a tremendous asset as the Infrastructure Bank ramps up our below market rate lending and grant programs thanks to a nearly $500 million influx of federal funding from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.”
A certified public accountant and certified internal auditor, Rose has extensive experience in financial operations, external audit, internal audit and management consulting across the retail, manufacturing and government industries with a focus on management decision support. Prior to joining Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank, she served as CFO of the Massachusetts Teachers Association as well as CFO of The Hubbell Group, a Boston-based strategic communications firm. Eileen has also held positions in organizations including PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she provided advisory services for a variety of clients, including financial system implementations, internal audit innovation, and financial operations transformation.
Throughout her 30-year career in accounting, auditing, and IT systems implementation, she has built a reputation for strategic thinking, process improvement, policy implementation and strong oversight over accounting and finance operations. Eileen takes pride in the operation of management support systems that complement and advance overall business strategy.

Silk Title Co. announced it has hired Jay Listisen as its Senior Vice President of Development. The strategic move comes amid significant growth for Silk.
The hiring of Mr. Listisen adds even more industry talent to an already deep bench of the nation's best operators. Jay has developed expertise on nearly every aspect of the mortgage origination process for the past 27 years. His unique perspective and understanding of the industry began in the loan origination space, where he spent 16 years deeply involved as a senior executive focused on process improvement, cost reduction, borrower experience, and business development. In 2010, Jay transitioned to the settlement services side of the business as an executive leader for title and closing. In 2017, he took on a senior leadership role at West VM, where he oversaw the Client Success team that brought to market a single, web-based portal that served as the critical middleware between lenders and their partners for settlement services.
“I considered several opportunities for my next career move, but I chose Silk because of its vision for the future and enthusiastic pursuit to accomplish big ideas and clear objectives. There is a better way to execute title services in the marketplace, and I look forward to sharing our unique approach at Silk, which combines proprietary technology with smart, experienced people to deliver what lenders tell us they need,” said Listisen.
“While I am still deeply involved in the meteoric growth of Silk, having Jay onboard and focused on new business will help drive our ability to show the top lenders in the nation how to deploy the most innovative and sophisticated approaches to handle title integrations for a superior lender and borrower experience,” said Marc Trachtenberg, Chairman and CEO of Silk Title Co.
Trachtenberg continued, “Silk Title Co.'s Executive team constantly talks about what it takes to build a great team. Jay completely fits that prototype. We are pleased to have him at Silk.”
RPL Adds Sales Associate Anne Marsh to its Cumberland Office

Residential Properties Ltd. announced that Sales Associate Anne Marsh has joined the superb roster of agents at our Cumberland office. Marsh started in real estate almost four decades ago when she and her husband Peter started a residential home building company. They successfully built hundreds of homes in Northern Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts, gaining invaluable, deep knowledge on the new construction field. In 1998, Marsh decided to get her real estate sales license. Today, she brings almost 25 years of residential sales experience to RPL.
Proven history – forward thinking
Born and raised in Woonsocket, Marsh attended local Catholic schools and graduated from Rhode Island College with a bachelor’s degree in education. Her infectious enthusiasm and enduring admiration of The Ocean State will appeal to a variety of buyers and sellers.
She had the background and awareness to make an informed decision in selecting an agency to join. She sought a forward-thinking, supportive atmosphere in which agents can thrive. “I have always had such respect for the way Residential Properties does business,” Marsh said. “I wanted to associate myself with a company that has a stellar reputation, in Cumberland particularly. After speaking with Cumberland Broker Manager Ryan Antrop, I knew that RPL would be a place where I can be successful in helping meet all of my clients’ real estate needs.”
Simple pleasures – complex market
At the beginning of this new journey in her career, Marsh is able to lean on the comforts of home and love of living in RI. She has two children and four grandchildren who bring her plenty of joy and family fun in her free time, from playing golf and boating to summers on The Cape. Anne is always discovering new things in our region, whether it’s a secluded beach or a leafy country road, a life spent in New England continues to inspire.
Marsh takes quite seriously the role of a real estate agent in the life of a buyer or seller. Looking ahead, she plans to leverage her 25 years of working with clients to achieve their goals in an evolving landscape. “I look forward to serving my clientele with innovative solutions and clear communication,” Marsh added. “Real estate has been my passion for my entire adult life. I look forward to much success at Residential Properties.”
