The popular MMO Elder Scrolls Online will be free to play all the time of QuakeCon 2022. The limited-time trial will last from 16 until 29. It’ll be available all over the console and PC.
The Elder Scrolls Online is a gaming platform, released in April 2014 by the company of Tamriel, which includes games like Skyrim, Oblivion and Morrowind. Since the launch, ESO has emerged as a popular product in recent years.
Although it usually cost $15 US per month, returning players and other players can enter Tamriel for a limited time on QuakeCon 2022.
QuakeCon is an annual gaming convention hosted by ZeniMax. It is famous for showcasing works from its most popular studios, including likes for id software, Bethesda and more. A gaming conference still exists, the QuakeCon started in 1996 but was temporarily temporarily suspended due to the COVID-19 global pandemic.
The QuakeCon 2022 marks the return of Bethesda’s hosted conference. The event will run from Aug 18 to 20. The free trial with ESO will take off a little longer from the 16th to 29th of August. The free trial gives potential players plenty of time to test the MMO.
According to the tweet, Steam won’t be part of the play-off event yet PC players can still access the open world game MMO on the ESOs website. New players can start their free trial with the Legacy of the Bretons in the High Island prologue quest.
Players who want to play through their slumber can do that through the subscription purchase of The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle or the ESO Base Games.
