It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas – even more so now the official list of stalls for this year's Plymouth Christmas Market has been announced. And what a selection there is this year.
Plymouth's Christmas Market officially opens on Thursday, December 1 and this year it will be bigger and better than ever before. But we won't be fully in the Christmas spirit until the city centre's sparkling festive lights are switched on.
The light switch-on in the city centre will be taking place on Thursday, November 17 2022 followed by the start of festive late night shopping every Thursday. Despite some towns and cities cancelling their switch-on events this year to help with electricity bills, the council has confirmed Plymouth's display will still be going ahead.

Families and friends will be able to come together to watch Plymouth City Centre transform into a winter wonderland. The free event is a perfect opportunity to get into the Christmas spirit. In previous years the big event has never let us down and as many people flock to the city centre for the evening and are in awe of the spectacular displays.
Like always, the event will host family-friendly entertainment and live music, with performances of carols and popular festive songs from local groups and choirs. The big light-switch on is an unmissable moment as people watch the city light up in a magical experience for the little ones.
And on December 1, the Christmas Market will officially open. There will be a range of gift and food stalls – see them all below.
