The Korean music executive who brought pop boy band BTS to the world was the buyer who snapped up Trevor Noah’s Los Angeles mansion last year, according to a new report. Billionaire Bang Si-hyuk, whose company Big Hit Entertainment went public in 2020 and subsequently acquired American music executive Scooter Braun’s Ithaca Holdings in 2021, paid $26.4 million for the home. Tyson Flannery, the son of an Australian mining tycoon, has listed his sprawling property in Brisbane for A$10 million (US$6.72 million). L.A. Reid Relists Massive Bel Air Mansion For $21.5 Million
Record mogul Antonio Marquis “L.A.” Reid has relisted his massive Bel Air, California, mansion—this time with a reduced price tag of $21.5 million. The 11,246-square-foot home has been on and off the market since 2019, when the original list price was $22.9 million. Dubai Ranks Top for Branded Residences
Dubai has overtaken South Florida in the race to become the branded residence capital of the world. There are now nearly 50 branded projects, including Baccarat, Four Seasons, Bulgari and Cavalli, in Dubai, with a few dozen more announced and set to be built by 2030. “Their popularity has been supercharged by the wall of capital from the ultra-rich that continues to target the city’s luxury homes,” said Faisal Durrani, head of Middle East research for Knight Frank.
