An OSM Thome Site Manager is responsible for working closely with each yard globally, covering all aspects of the construction from start to finish. This allows us to ensure that the new building is delivered as expected in terms of standards and quality. Additionally, an OSM Thome Site Team monitors the yard’s daily tests schedule to guarantee that the equipment used is proven to meet specifications and class requirements.

PRE-CONTRACT:

The basic principle for the design of this vessel is to meet operational and environmental demands with the best and most modern solutions using LNG fuel and battery power for the propulsion with SRtP requirements. The vessel is hybrid gas-electric/battery driven for optimal operation and flexibility in order to reduce fuel consumption, emission, noise, and vibration during transit and maneuvering.
A fully electric/hybrid passenger vessel is a diesel-electric vessel with a larger battery that can be charged from shore in 9 minutes. We observe a significant reduction in emissions and reduction of engine hours as a result of such construction. The electricity cost is low due to the diesel fuel.
A marine robotic vessel is a unique multi-purpose platform with custom design and technology features allowing onshore remote control, and operations with little or no crew at all. It allows the usage of alternative fuels such as green ammonia. It supports an Integrated Automation System and Power Management System that allows for safe remote operations and cyber-secure communication.
