The University of Cambridge came top in the business and management studies unit of assessment with a GPA of 3.67, an improvement on its 2014 GPA of 3.44. The institution that ranked number one in 2014 – the London School of Economics – was fourth this time despite improving its GPA from 3.46 to 3.56.
A big mover was the University of Exeter, which was ranked 39th in 2014 and joint ninth this year, improving its GPA from 2.85 to 3.46. The University of Oxford dropped to 11th from fourth place in 2014 even though its GPA improved from 3.36 to 3.45.
At a national level the Business and Management Studies UoA has a GPA of 3.12, with 35 per cent of its submission rated 4*. 6633.52 FTE staff were submitted to this UoA.
