You will receive on online reference number to confirm the form has been submitted.
The information you provide will be sent to the police station closest to where the incident occurred. The Queensland Police Service use this information to better understand traffic behaviour in the local area, form road policing strategies and investigate offences.
The Queensland Police Service encourages you to confidentially provide your details. You are not required to provide your details however this will impact our ability to investigate and commence prosecution against nominated individuals. If an investigation is commenced, police may contact you to obtain a statement. Police will provide you with further information if you are required to attend court.
If you provide your contact details, you will receive a Qld Police report number in an email or SMS within 5 days.
To assist the Queensland Police Service with its investigations, evidence is requested to be provided to the Axon Queensland Police Service Evidence Submission Portal.
For offences reported online with available evidence (e.g. video footage) a separate secure link will be sent to provide this to Police.
You will receive either an email/SMS with the report number and another with a secure link from ‘Axon’ to upload the video footage or evidence.
