NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT
I’m Too Sexy hitmakers Right Said Fred have shared their take on Prince Harry’s bombshell allegations about his older brother, Prince William, who Harry said physically attacked him during an argument over his wife, Meghan Markle.
Right Said Fred, aka brothers Fred and Richard Fairbrass, poked fun at the alleged rift between the royals on Monday when addressing whether they’d suffered sibling squabbles throughout their 33-year career.
Fred and Richard, 59 and 69 respectively, said: ‘In the light of the Prince Harry and Prince William revelations a news channel asked us to comment on sibling rivalry. They didn’t use the clip so here it is anyway.’
Alongside their tweet, the siblings also posted a video in which Fred said: ‘Hi, we’re Right Said Fred. We’ve been asked to comment on the sibling rivalry [between] Prince Harry and Prince William. We’ve never really had much sibling rivalry…’
Before Fred could finish his sentence, Richard jokingly wrapped his hands around his brother’s neck and pretended to strangle him as Fred fell to the floor.
Their prank was in response to claims made by Harry in his forthcoming biography, Spare, that William had attacked him at his London home in 2019.

The Duke of Sussex said the altercation left him with a visible injury to his back after the Prince of Wales grabbed him by the collar and ripped his necklace before knocking him to the floor.
Harry further claimed William called Meghan ‘difficult’, ‘rude’ and ‘abrasive’ – comments which the younger brother said parroted ‘the press narrative’ about his wife.
What’s more, during the sit-down talk with ITV’s Tom Bradby that aired over the weekend, Harry said of his brother: ‘I saw this red mist in him. He wanted me to hit him back, but I chose not to.’

‘It all happened so fast. So very fast. He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor.’
According to Harry, William left, then returned ‘looking regretful, and apologised’.
