The Russian border region of Primorsky Krai has confirmed that it sent shipments of grain to North Korea in 2022, without stating the total amount.
In a press statement released Friday, the territory’s veterinary customs agency listed the DPRK among four countries to which it exported grain last year, stating that its total grain exports more than doubled compared to 2021.
