20th Century’s heist thriller Eenie Meanie, starring Samara Weaving, is set to start filming in Cleveland, Ohio, US.
Filming is scheduled to start this autumn, but may be subject to change given the ongoing SAG-AFTRA and WGA strike.
The project entered pre-production on June 27.
The film follows a former teenage getaway driver who is dragged back into her unsavoury past when a former employer offers her a chance to save the life of her chronically unreliable ex-boyfriend.
Shawn Simmons, whose credits include YouTube Premium’s action-comedy series Wayne and The Continental: From the World of John Wick, directs from his own screenplay. Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick producing.
Weaving recently wrapped production on Little Sky, Netflix’s first comedy pilot, where she plays the lead. She also recently appeared in Paramount’s Scream VI, the latest instalment of the horror franchise, and co-starred opposite Kelvin Harrison Jr. in Searchlight’s Chevalier.
