Samsung has released the Ultra Slim Soundbar, unveiled at CES 2022. The company claims that the speakers’ Wireless True Dolby Atmos is a world first.
The Ultra Slim Soundbar has improvements to Q-Symphony technology, which integrates the speaker system with your TV to deliver up to a 22 channel Dolby Atmos experience. The enhancement enables the device to connect with all speakers on your compatible Samsung TV for a 3D sound effect.
Space Fit Sound Advance technology is also included to optimize the sound based on the size of the room. Plus, the speaker comes with a separate 6.5-inch (16.5 cm) subwoofer with passive radiator technology to deliver strong bass.
The slim design of the soundbar allows you to mount the gadget on the wall below your TV; Samsung believes that wall mounting TVs is becoming increasingly popular with their customers. The Ultra Slim Soundbar has a metal finish and is 1.6-inch (4.0 cm) deep.
You can connect to the soundbar using HDMI eARC Connection, Tap Sound, and third parties such as Amazon Alexa, Apple Airplay 2 and Google Chromecast.
The Ultra Slim Soundbar will be available in black and white. You can already buy the gadget in Australia, with the device coming to Germany on March 28th. The retail price for the speakers is ~US$829 (€749), with a wider rollout expected this year.
