NUS Law is Asia’s Global Law School, situated in the one of the world’s leading universities. Widely regarded as the region’s leading law school (8th THE and 11th QS), NUS Law plays a critical role in shaping the study and practice of law in the region and beyond. The Faculty is dedicated to building a vibrant community and creating an environment that facilitates critical thinking and reflection on the fundamental legal issues confronting our interconnected world. The law school has more than 60 academic staff members from all over the world and more than 1200 undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The Faculty now seeks to appoint a distinguished legal scholar to be the distinguished Saw Swee Hock Centennial Professor of Law. The appointee will be an internationally renowned, truly world-leading Professor in any area of law whose research accomplishment and standing is fitting for this prestigious Chair.
The Chair is generously supported by the late Professor Saw Swee Hock, President’s Honorary Professor of Statistics at the National University of Singapore, who has supported numerous education and research related ventures at universities worldwide, and represents one of the most distinguished appointments at the National University of Singapore.
