The winners of the SLTN Awards 2022 have been revealed, with restaurants and bars from all over Scotland taking home prizes. The yearly awards celebrate the best Scottish hospitality has to offer
Scotland's best restaurants and bars across the country have been named at a top awards show.
The SLTN Awards 2022 were held last week, and the organisation has now shared the full list of winners from the ceremony. The Scottish Licensed Trade News is the leading publication for Scotland's licensed trade and hospitality industry.
The yearly awards celebrate the best hospitality businesses Scotland has to offer, featuring categories such as Whisky Bar of the Year, Best Venue to Watch the Match, and Restaurant of the Year. There are also awards celebrating up-and-coming venues, as well as ones for specific staff members.
Restaurants and bars from all over Scotland took home prizes at the 2022 ceremony, which was held at the Hilton in Glasgow. Comedian Jason Manford hosted the event.

Among the winners this year are The Meadow Inn in Crieff, which was crowned Independent Pub/Bar of the Year, and The George Hotel in Inveraray, which won Whisky Bar of the Year. There were two separate Restaurant of the Year awards giving, with the Coll Hotel on the Isle of Coll taking home the prize for casual dining and UNALOME by Graeme Cheevers in Glasgow winning in the fine dining category.
SLTN editor Gordon Davidson commented: “The SLTN Awards is an opportunity to highlight the very best of Scottish hospitality – the entrepreneurialism, resiliency and passion that makes this business so special.
“And as hospitality continues to contend with a raft of challenges, it has never been more important to celebrate the industry’s best and brightest.
“All our winners and finalists deserve huge congratulations. The standard of venues in Scotland has never been higher and that’s a testament to the incredible staff and operators that make this industry what it is.”
