The world of online shopping offers great convenience but can also have some risks.
Stomper Meiling bought wireless earphones from Shopee on June 11 but grew concerned when she noticed the tracking number did not have any updates for three days.
On June 15, she decided to contact the seller but was shocked when they blocked her.
“I contacted Shopee and was told that the seller had requested the item be returned,” she said.
“I asked the seller to check on this and why he requested the return but the seller blocked me totally!”
She shared that she paid $33.49 for the item and has neither received it nor gotten a refund.
“Although it’s not a huge amount, this is totally unacceptable and ridiculous!”
