ASIA PACIFIC. Tax Free World Association (TFWA) has announced that Singapore Airlines will be the official airline of the TFWA Asia Pacific Live networking event, which will take place in Singapore, 9-11 May.
The partnership will provide those attending the event with a 7-15% preferred rate on Singapore Airlines flights through the use of a special code: TFWA2022.
The preferred rate will differ depending on the country of origin and ticket class. It will be available from the following cities: Los Angeles; New York; San Francisco; Frankfurt; Paris; London; Manchester; Amsterdam; Munich; Milan; Barcelona; Seoul; Kuala Lumpur; Penang; Jakarta; Bali; Medan; Bangkok; Tokyo; Osaka; Hong Kong; New Delhi; Mumbai; Manila; Taiwan; Dubai; Johannesburg; Sydney; Melbourne; Brisbane and Perth.
To qualify for the preferred rate delegates need to book via the Singapore Airlines’ website. It does not apply to any flights booked via third-party travel agencies or websites.
As reported, the event focuses on in-person networking, with facilities for face-to-face meetings and workshops at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre.
TFWA President Erik Juul-Mortensen says the event will support travel retail industry recovery
Marina Bay Sands Hotel (MBS) will also be offering delegates a special room rate when booking a stay.
To benefit from the offer, attendees must book a room by 15 April on this link. Later reservations will be subject to availability and the best rate on offer at the time will be applied by the hotel.
Online registration for the TFWA Asia Pacific Live networking event is open via email: visitors@tfwa.com and further information is available here.
TFWA President Erik Juul-Mortensen said: “The partnership between TFWA and Singapore Airlines will allow us to work alongside an airline which is so important to the region, whilst also providing a preferred rate for our industry partners joining us in Singapore.
“Singapore Airlines is one of the most highly-regarded airlines in the world and currently holds the achievement of being the world’s most awarded airline.
“We trust that this offer, along with the preferential hotel rates available to delegates at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel, will provide support to those companies joining us in Singapore for TFWA Asia Pacific Live. Both of these partnerships are fitting examples of how brands and organisations across the world are coming together to facilitate the industry’s continuing recovery.”
