Singapore Airlines Opens Ticket Sales on More Vaccinated Travel Lanes – Travel News Asia
(29 Nov 2021) Singapore Airlines has opened ticket sales on five more Vaccinated Travel Lanes (VTL).
The airline will add Bangkok and Phuket to its VTL network from 14 December, then Phnom Penh, Male, Colombo and Istanbul will be added on 16 December, with Siem Reap joining on 17 December 2021.
From 14 December, SIA will operate 10 weekly VTL flights from Bangkok to Singapore. SQ707 will operate daily, while SQ705 will operate thrice weekly until 31 January 2022 from when it will also operate daily. From Phuket, SQ727 will operate daily as the designated VTL flight from HKT
to Singapore. All other flights between Thailand and Singapore are non-VTL flights.
Starting 16 December, SQ153 will operate daily as the designated VTL flight from Phnom Penh to Singapore and from 17 December SQ163 will operate four times per week as the designated VTL flight from Siem Reap to Singapore. All other flights between Cambodia and Singapore are non-VTL flights.
SQ437 from Male to Singapore will operate thrice weekly as the designated VTL flight. All other flights between Male and Singapore are non-VTL flights.
From 16 December, SQ469 will operate daily as the designated VTL flight from Colombo to Singapore while SQ391 will operate thrice weekly as the designated VTL flight from Istanbul to Singapore.
Travellers who do not meet the VTL requirements can opt to fly on non-VTL flights, though travellers on non-VTL flights must meet the entry requirements for Singapore and will have to serve quarantine.
