MPs took a vote on a Bill to repeal gay sex law Section 377A, as well as on a proposed amendment to the Constitution to protect the definition of marriage from legal challenges.
More protests had been planned for Monday night but did not materialise, and people who had attended weekend rallies said they had received phone calls from law enforcement officers demanding information about their movements.
