A MAN has died after a fire at a home in Slough.
Royal Berkshire Fire Service crews were scrambled to the fire in Marunden Green, Slough, on September 1.
It happened about 5.30pm and crews from Slough and Langley Fire Stations, including South Central Ambulance Service rushed to the three story property.
One man was rescued by crews and rushed to Wexham Park Hospital where he later died.
Thames Valley Police said: “At around 5.30pm on September 1, we received a report of a fire at an address in Marunden Green, Slough.
“A 77-year-old man was taken to Wexham Park Hospital but later he sadly died.
“His next of kin have been informed and are being offered support.
“The death is being treated as unexplained but non-suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
Fire crews were on the scene for five hours and 50 minutes.
