South Korean prosecutors have formally charged a local pastor with molesting six North Korean defector students who attended his private “international school,” with authorities looking into the possibility of additional cases of abuse.
The pastor surnamed Chun was indicted last Thursday on charges of violating the Act on the Protection of Children and Juveniles and the Child Welfare Act, the Women and Child Crime Investigation Division at the Seoul Central District Prosecutor’s Office confirmed to NK News.
