Spurs Sports & Entertainment (SS&E), the sports and entertainment organization behind the city's beloved basketball team, is seeking out applicants for its upcoming Spurs Culinary Residency program. For the 2023-24 season, minority-owned restaurants (those owned by women, people of color, veterans, etc.) will be given special consideration in the interest of inclusion, according to a news release sent to MySA.
“The Spurs Culinary Residency program celebrates diversity and inclusion, while spotlighting local and emerging talent that is at the heart and soul of San Antonio’s culinary landscape,” said Kevin Barker, SS&E's associate director of culinary experience, in the release.
