Stoke City will host European champions England Women when they play a 2023 World Cup qualifier at the bet365 Stadium next month.
Sarina Wiegman's Lionesses will take on Luxembourg in their final World Cup qualifier on Tuesday, September 6, ahead of next summer's finals in Australia and New Zealand. The likes of Millie Bright, Leah Williamson, Kiera Walsh, Beth Mead and Alessia Russo are all likely to be in action as the team go after the World Cup following their European triumph.
There is plenty of excitement around England Women after the glorious couple of weeks they have just had, culminating with goals from Ella Toone and Chloe Kelly sealing an extra-time victory over Germany in the final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday. They went through the tournament unbeaten, conceding only two goals.

The final was played in front of 87,192 supporters, and the Lionesses will be hoping for another near-capacity attendance when they visit the Potteries. Tickets are on sale priced at £15 for adults and £2.50 for children. Next month's tie will kick off at 7:30pm.
The team could have already qualified for the World Cup by the time they visit Stoke, with their participation assured if they avoid defeat to Austria on September 3.
