If you’ve been to the Museum of Ice Cream and enjoyed the experience, you should definitely check out the Big Museum of Taste (B.M.T.) next — Subway’s first-ever pop-up museum with interactive displays, installations, games and most importantly, cookies.
When you head over to the museum, you’ll see a giant seven-metre-long iconic Italian B.M.T. sub (very on theme!) sitting at the entrance of the museum. If you’re looking for something quirky and IG-worthy for your Instagram feed, it’ll be the perfect start to your day here.
Once you’re done taking photos at the entrance, head inside the museum and find four zones featuring nine cool interactive installations. First, enter a space where you’ll be greeted by the familiar Subway counter. Here’s where you’ll discover the history of this classic sandwich brand and explore IG-worthy displays.
Head on over to the second zone next, and test your knowledge about Subway by answering some fun trivia questions about the brand in the second zone. Finally, in the last two zones, you’ll be able to become a sandwich artist yourself by preparing your very own virtual sub.
Think Overcooked but instead of preparing food on your Nintendo Switch, you’ll be kneading your dough, slicing vegetables and picking proteins while challenging friends to a dance-off! After that, redeem your free freshly baked Subway cookie and Coca-Cola, and don’t forget to stop at the gift store before you leave. Here’s where you can check out limited edition merchandise with exclusive Subway-branded socks, t-shirts, pillows and more.
The pop-up museum is located at 11 Prinsep Link, and will be open from 10 to 30 August 2022. To obtain a ticket, all you have to do is spend S$12 in a single Subway receipt, and if you’re going with someone, you can also spend S$20 in a single receipt to get two tickets. (Do note that only receipts for Subway are applicable, so it’s a no-no if you’re ordering through third-party delivery apps!)
Then, simply go to the pop-up museum’s official site and book your tickets by uploading a picture of your receipt.
PS: do make sure to register your visit online so that you’re able to collect your tag at the museum before you enter (tickets will not be redeemable on site!).
