Did you know that you don’t have to travel all the way down under for some authentic Aussie bites and groceries? At the cafe, you’ll find a whole bunch of delectable Australian brunch staples like Avo (S$19), a no-frills avocado toast made with fresh and thoughtfully sourced ingredients (like many of the other items on the menu!) and the Crayfish Benny (S$25), a hearty eggs’ benedict dish spiced up with some fresh and creamy crayfish.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a true blue Australian cafe without good coffee to go with your brunch — there’s a variety of options like your standard black (S$5.50) or white (S$6.50) coffee, or even some more unique creations like the Milo Mocha (S$7.50).
Other than the cafe, there is also has a retail section where you can shop some of the freshest Australian produce like vegetables, fruits, herbs, spices and even seafood like abalone.
If you already love browsing grocery stores in Singapore like Cold Storage or NTUC, then you’ll definitely have a blast here exploring these lesser-seen products in Singapore.
And that’s not the end of it — there’s also an in-house artisanal bakery and florist bar (it’ll be so hard to go home empty-handed!). Grab some fresh sourdough bread (S$10) as well as a plethora of different jams and spreads if you’re feeling like having an Aussie-styled morning at home, complete with some fresh flower arrangements from the florist bar.
For some extra brownie points, you’ll also probably see many fluffy fur babies at Surrey Hills Grocer as it’s pet-friendly, and the little doggos and puppers can all tag along on your afternoon away from Singapore’s usual hustle and bustle.
