Cameron, who is the son of coach and Tall Blacks great Pero Cameron, had nine rebounds and eight assists to go with his scoring output.
Taki Fahrensohn and Tohi Smith-Milner had 16 and 14 points respectively, while Otago centre Sam Timmins pulled in 14 rebounds to go with his six points.
The lead changed nine times throughout the game, before New Zealand finally established dominance late.
On the other side of the draw, Lebanon will play Jordan in the other semifinal.
