Tecno Mobile has entered a new category with the international launch of its first laptop.
Unveiled at the IFA trade show in Berlin, Germany, the Tecno Megabook T1 is designed with Gen Z users in mind. And the good news for us here in the Philippines? The device is coming to the country real soon. We at Revü have spotted it on the brand’s official global store on Lazada Philippines. The listing shows that the Megabook T1 will be available locally from September 9.
The suggested retail price starts at P25,990 (roughly $458) and goes up to P49,999 ($880). There are three memory configurations that will be offered here — 8GB/512GB, 12GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB — so we’re missing the 12GB/512GB model’s SRP. No matter, we’ll know in a few days.
The Tecno Megabook T1 is available in Rome Mint, Monet Violet, Champagne Golf, and Space Grey colors. The latter comes with a Startrail Phantom design, a dual-tone look that features multiple shiny strips running across the laptop.
Powered by up to a 10th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, the notebook is slim at 14.8mm and light at 14.8kg even though it has an aluminum casing. The 15.6-inch IPS FHD screen supports 100% sRGB color gamut and has up to 350 nits of brightness plus TÜV Eye Comfort Certification. The battery is big at 70Wh, providing up to 17.5 hours of power, plus there’s a bundled 65W GaN charger. There’s also a backlit keyboard, nine ports, and a self-developed Tecno VOC sound system with DTS sound and Dual Mic Plus AI ENC technology.
