Loud Speaker is the cheapest karaoke you’ll find in KL where you can sing out loud for as low as RM7 per person. There are outlets in Kota Damansara, Sri Petaling and Puchong, and is definitely is the most wallet-friendly karaoke session to be had.
Redbox Plus is everyone’s favourite go-to place to enjoy an up-to-date song playlist and a good selection of food. The rooms are comfortable and spacious; and ideal for birthday parties, casual singing afternoons or even a ladies night out. Sessions are priced from RM23 to RM85 inclusive of one drink.
This sleek and modern karaoke joint has outlets in KL, Johor Bahru and Penang. CEO Neway offers a variety of genres including K-Pop, Malay hits, English chart-toppers and Canto-pop. Manekineko is one of Japan’s largest karaoke chains with outlets in Korea, Singapore and recently opened its first-ever outlet in Malaysia. The vibrant and cheerful karaoke joint is perfect for families with its child-friendly rooms and a playground for the little ones to play in while you’re belt out to your favourite song. Some rooms even offer a pool table and a golden mic stand for the divas out there.
Superstar Karaoke has three main outlets in KL – Alamanda, Wangsa Walk Mall and Setapak Central. Choose from a Standard, Deluxe or Superior room (fits up to 12 people); and enjoy a wide variety of English, Malay, Chinese and Korean songs. As one of most competitively priced karaoke joints in town, Bonavox Karaoke’s rates start from RM10.90 for an hour of karaoke and a complimentary bottomless drink. They also offer lunch and dinner packages which can be added on for RM5-RM8; and while many venues insist on a three-hour minimum spend, you can book a room for just an hour here.
