According to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 10200 block of D. Street E. in Parkland because a GPS tracker indicated a stolen vehicle was there.
A deputy found the vehicle and discovered several other stolen vehicles, which prompted further investigation, and a warrant was granted to search exterior areas.
Deputies found eight stolen vehicles at the location, including:
Deputies did not find anyone in the home. According to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office, the warrant only covered outside the property.
All vehicles were towed to a secure lot to be searched, and fingerprints were taken.
The investigation continues.

The Auburn Police Department needs help in identifying an auto theft suspect.
Auburn Police say officers responded to a call in the 12000 Block of SE 312th street for reports of a stolen vehicle. The victim told police they believed their car was stolen sometime earlier this morning.
The car was an early 2000s sedan.

On Sept. 25, Redmond police officers responded to a call of “unknown trouble” at the WoodSpring Suites, located at 7045 180th Avenue NE.
Officers arrived and found that a woman had been robbed at gunpoint.
Two men had lured the woman there from out of state under false pretenses, police say.
The men were arrested and a warrant was served on their hotel room.
Officers said they found drugs, thousands of dollars in counterfeit cash, and a “ghost gun” with no serial number.
Both men were charged with robbery and unlawful imprisonment.
The Mason County Sheriff’s Office said they are still receiving calls about scams impersonating police.
People are getting calls that say they are from the Mason County Sheriff’s Office and telling potential victims that they have a warrant or fine and need to make a payment over the phone or meet near the Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies want to remind people they will not call to collect any fines or warrant fees.
If you do receive a call from a Mason County business telephone number that sounds suspicious, deputies warn you to not give them any information and tell the caller you will call back on the official listed phone number.

Seattle Police say early Tuesday morning, a man pulled up in front of a motel off Aurora, screaming that he wanted to die.
Officers say he fired three rounds out of his car before speeding off.
Officers got on the scene and found evidence of a shooting. No victims were located, and no property damage was discovered.
The evidence was recovered, and the patrol handled the call.
Seattle Police said on Tuesday night, officers responded to a subject who was spit on and had a bottle thrown at him because of his race.
Officers said this was based on racial slurs used by the suspect and a history of racially motivated harassment by the suspect.
The suspect was arrested and booked into the King County Jail.
