• In this new release of App Platform, we’ve addressed key customer requests, including implementing autoscaling, providing a new, more flexible pricing model that makes it more cost-effective to scale, and allowing for Dedicated IPs.
• Learn about the new Dedicated IP feature for DigitalOcean’s App Platform, which allows users to assign unique static IP addresses for outgoing traffic. This feature enhances security by enabling IP whitelisting, thereby controlling access to third-party services and APIs.
• Discover how to better monitor and understand your database performance with new scrapable metrics for PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, and Kafka at DigitalOcean, enhancing visibility and monitoring with tools like Prometheus.

• Customer log forwarding is now available for DigitalOcean Managed Databases, which allows customers to troubleshoot issues more efficiently, enhance their security posture, and optimize application performance. 
• Explore the upgraded infrastructure on DigitalOcean’s App Platform, that has significantly improved throughput performance for apps, with remarkable improvements for WordPress and Node.js apps observed during testing.
• Uncover the benefits of our new Premium Memory-Optimized Droplets and Premium Storage-Optimized Droplets, available in addition to our Regular variants, to advance your business needs.
• Daily Droplet backups are now available in more data centers! On May 30, the latest Droplet backups enhancement will be available in the control panel and API in TOR1 and SFO2. The enhancements are also available in the previously launched in SGP1, NYC1, AMS3, NYC3, and SFO3, with more coming very soon!
• You can now add purchase orders to your team to include purchase order information on your monthly invoices and track usage against your purchase orders. Learn more in the billing product documentation.
• Cloudways has partnered with Imunify360 to launch the new Malware Protection add-on. Bringing advanced malware detection & removal along with proactive defence (RASP) to help bolster malware security. Learn more about this release here.
