It is no secret that Scotland is home to some of the finest restaurants you're likely to find anywhere in the world.
With that reputation, it shouldn't be a surprise that celebrities far and wide have flocked to the country for some food — particularly in recent years with more Hollywood films and TV series filming in Scotland.
From local icons like Billy Connolly and Lewis Capaldi to foreign superstars like Billie Eilish and Vanessa Hudgens, many famous faces have been spotted at Scottish eateries over the years.
A lot of celebs are also happy to take a second and pose for a photo with their Scottish fans. Here is a rundown of some of the most notable sightings.
Popstar Dua Lipa stunned diners at Gloriosa in the city's west end when she sat down for a delicious meal after her sold-out show at the OVO Hydro in 2022. Posting on social media last April, she wrote: "This cod and butter beans is what dreams are made of".
Jon Hamm, best known for his acclaimed leading role in the TV series Mad Men, was snapped at the Bucks Bar eatery in the centre of Glasgow. Hamm was in Scotland last year filming the new season of Good Omens when he popped in for some fried chicken.
Glasgow icon Billy Connolly stopped by this popular Mediterranean restaurant back in 2022 during a visit to the city. The comedy legend also gladly posed for a photo in front of the restaurant with staff.

Staff at this Aberdeen eatery were gobsmacked when actors Dame Judi Dench and Hugh Bonneville stopped by for a bite to eat last year. The pair were visiting the city for the Braemar Gathering and Highland Games.
If you are a fan of the popular HBO show Succession, then you will know that an entire episode was filmed and set in Scotland. After filming, some of the cast — including Brian Cox, James Cromwell, and Nicholas Braun — headed to Haar in St Andrews for a delicious meal.
