Just when you thought Vegas couldn’t get any more expensive, this resort took over the strip with its outrageously thrilling casino.
The new kid on the block in Vegas' vaunted Strip is Resorts World Las Vegas. It has been built on the site of Stardust Resort and Casino (now demolished). After a long construction period, Resorts World Las Vegas finally opened just a few months ago on June 24, 2021. It is now the first resort to have been completed on the Las Vegas Strip since the Cosmpolitan (which opened in 2010).
It is now another giant that one needs to consider while trying to navigate the glitz Strip that's the Sin City of the United States. Another great way to see the Strip and its many neon lights at night is to get a VIP bird's-eye-view of it with a helicopter flight over the Strip.
The massive resort complex costs an eye-watering $4.3 Billion – a lot of money for a hotel! It is now the most expensive resort property ever developed in Las Vegas. Its casino alone covers an area of 117,000 sq ft (10,900 m2).
The resort includes a 59 stories tower that boasts not one, not two, but three Hilton hotels These are:
Resorts World In The Numbers:
Resorts World Las Vegas is an integrated resort and incorporates the best of modern technologies. As such they claim to:
"seamlessly blend the technology and luxury appeal of an urban contemporary resort with the traditions and time-honored details of the international Resorts World brand."
They are sleek and yet simple with stunning elegance offering luxury, value, and variety.
It has a variety of technological features and accepts cryptocurrency through its partnership with Gemini. They provide cashless wagering slots and table games. The table game chips use RFID technology for tracking purposes as a part of the resort's loyalty program.
There is even a colossal 100,000 sq ft (9,300 m2) exterior LED screen. That is so huge that it measures 294 feet high and 340 feet wide.
One Of the Notable Features In The Resort is The Globe:
The Conrad lobby features three robotic AIBO puppies to greet the guests. The rooms are keyless – using the Bluetooth from the guests' smartphone (so remember to keep the phone charged!). And then there's the digital concierge service where guests make reservations, check-in, etc. all through the app.
Resorts World Las Vegas is an Asian-themed hotel. Being Asian themed it lacks the fourth floor as the number four is considered unlucky in many Asian countries (in Chinese the number four sounds like their word for death).
Its retail center includes The District. It is a 70,000 sq ft (6,500 m2) retail center on two floors. One of its stores, Fred Segal, uses Amazon's "Just Walk Out" technology that automatically detects items the customers have collected from the store and automatically charges their credit cards.
It is true are there are a lot of Kardashian fans out there. But peculiarly the resort also has a store called "Kardashian Kloset" that sells second-hand clothing previously owned by the Kardashian family. The world can be strange sometimes…
The resort is offering so much more than just the quintessential casino. They offer massive banquets spaces, a huge spa complex, live entertainment, and a plethora of restaurants.
There are far too many rooms to list out there, but many of their rooms are very low priced and anyone can afford to stay. One can get a Delux Room with one King-sized bed for only $69 or a City View Delux Room with a king-sized bed for $76. They have many options for less than $100 per night, possibly in a bid to attract clientele.
Strip View One Bedroom Suite: This is one of their most expensive listed rooms and offers sweeping views of the Strip. It is a massive room with all amenities to match a luxurious stay in the resort.
