Technology company with the leading marketplace platform Tokopedia recently launched Dilayani Tokopedia (Fulfilled by Tokopedia), a rebranding of its order fulfillment service TokoCabang.
Formally launched on March 18, the service allows sellers to store their products in Tokopedia’s “smart warehouses” in areas with high demand.
In a statement, Tokopedia AVP of fulfillment Erwin Dwi Saputra said Tokopedia fully assisted sellers in their business operations, from receiving, packaging and sending orders to handling issues in transactions should they arise.
“Utilization of Dilayani Tokopedia's smart warehouse also helps boost sales, which is evident from internal data showing that sellers who use Tokopedia's services have successfully experienced an increase in average transactions by nearly twice the amount compared to before using them,” he explained.
Overall, Tokopedia’s fulfillment service transactions nearly quadrupled compared to the previous year.
“Tokopedia will continue to strive to provide priority services for sellers to increase business competitiveness through Dilayani Tokopedia,” Erwin said.
Dilayani Tokopedia also provides priority, fast and safe services for buyers throughout the archipelago. Buyers can access a wide selection of products quickly, enjoy free shipping throughout Indonesia and receive their orders quickly with a guarantee of goods arriving within a maximum of four hours for in-city delivery and 48 hours for other cities after payment.
“In 2021, Jabodetabek, Surabaya, Bandung, Medan, Semarang and Yogyakarta were areas with the highest transactions using our smart warehouse services,” Erwin added.
Currently, Tokopedia's smart warehouses are spread across Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Makassar, Medan and Palembang, with other cities expected to follow suit.

Starting from their concern for farmers in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Freddy Wijaya and Steven Wijaya founded Pupuk Dinosaurus (Dinosaur Fertilizer), producing organic fertilizers to increase land productivity as well as farmers' incomes in turn.
“Our activities were originally socially minded in nature. Now, Pupuk Dinosaurus products can be accessed by farmers in various regions, from Sumatra, Bogor, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, South Sulawesi, West Kalimantan to Maluku. We are very glad that our products can help Indonesian farmers maximize their harvests," Freddy said.
Pupuk Dinosaurus also provides various educational videos through social media channels on tips and tricks to increase productivity and produce higher quality crops. With this, Freddy hopes the knowledge and insight obtained for free can be shared with other farmers, continuing the cycle.
Freddy takes advantage of Tokopedia's Dilayani Tokopedia service to ensure that his products can be easily accessed by farmers throughout Indonesia.
"Thanks to Dilayani Tokopedia, our revenue has increased significantly. This also serves as our motivation to continue contributing to the progress of Indonesia's agricultural sector," he explained.
