Shrewsbury Town centre back Tom Flanagan has been called up by Northern Ireland for their UEFA Nations League matches at the end of September.
Northern Ireland welcome Kosovo to Windsor Park on the 24th of September before they travel to Greece on the 27th of September.
Flanagan will miss Shrewsbury’s home game against Burton Albion on the 24th of this month.
The defender was called up to the international team last March for their clashes with Luxembourg and Hungary. Flanagan played the entirety of the Luxembourg fixture – his 13th international appearance – but was benched for rotation purposes when they faced Hungary.
Therefore, he is eligible to make his 14th and 15th appearances for Northern Ireland at the end of the month.
