Forget the bright lights of the city centre – a self-catering complex in Sale is Greater Manchester's most loved hotel.
Oakfield Court has the highest ratings of any hotel in the region on the review website TripAdvisor.
Astonishingly, 108 of the 116 people to give it a score have award the maximum five-stars, meaning 'excellent'.
The complex, in Oakfield, is made up of a number of serviced furnished apartments intended to provide a 'home from home'.
One recent reviewer said: "We loved the unusual – perhaps unique – combination of a genuinely friendly welcome with the high standards of an efficiently run hotel."
Another described Oakfield Court as 'very stylish and fitted out to a really high standard'.
Elsewhere, the top 10 of Greater Manchester's hotels reflects the rise of trendy boutique accommodation as opposed to less characterful chains.
Second on the list is the Hotel Football in Old Trafford.

The hotel – the brainchild of Reds' legends Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville – sits in the shadow of the Theatre of Dreams and famously boasts a rooftop football pitch.
One review said simply: "Literally everything about this hotel was amazing!"
Third is the Premier Inn in Old Trafford, which is also popular with United fans in town for home matches.Fourth is Roomzzz – an apartment-style hotel in Chinatown – with fifth is the enduringly popular Great John Street Hotel.
Sixth is the Wycliffe Hotel in Cheadle Heath, while seventh is the Abel Heywood – a new boutique hotel in the Northern Quarter described as 'fantastic and funky' by one TripAdvisor reviewer.

Eighth is INNSIDE Manchester in the new First Street cultural quarter.
Ninth is Eleven Disdbury Park – an ever-popular luxury hotel in the swanky south Manchester suburb.
Completing the list is Velvet, in the Village.
As one reviewer put it: "Fantastic amenities at a price one can just dream of in London, for instance."
