A national water strategy would serve to manage outdated infrastructure and technology, according to a presentation at a recent MIT Water Summit.

The method enables a model to determine its confidence in a prediction, while using no additional data and far fewer computing resources than other methods.

Located in the new MIT Welcome Center in Building E38, the installation expresses the dynamic, vibrant culture of MIT through the medium of programmable light.

MIT scientists developed a technique for colliding ultracold molecules while controlling the rate at which they react, opening “new pathways for enhanced control of chemical reactions.” As Professor Wolfgang Ketterle explains, “Our work is a step to achieve quantum control over molecular collisions and reactions and to map out more broadly the collisional properties of these molecules with the goal of finding a deeper understanding.”
