Nigeria’s former U-20 and U-17 coach, John Obuh, has urged Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen not to sign more than a two-year contract in his next deal.
Obuh believes Osimhen has time to repeat his goal-scoring feat of last season for Napoli, unlike some players moving to Saudi Arabia amid interest linking him with a move away from the Serie A champions this summer.
He wants Osimhen, who has been linked with the likes of Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, Arsenal and Bayern Munich, not to mind calls for him to head to Saudi Arabia.
“He [Victor Osimhen] has opportunities to build an empire for himself,” Obuh told Brila FM.
“Osimhen has time, unlike those going to Saudi [Arabia]. Let him repeat the goal-scoring feat that he had last season.
“Let the next contract that he will sign not be long – not more than two years. If he can do that, people will say Osimhen has arrived.”
