“I’m impregnating the entire crowd at the @machinegunkelly show tonight,” said Barker on Twitter
“Against his doctor’s orders,” Travis Barker has returned to Machine Gun Kelly‘s “Mainstream Sellout” tour.
MGK began their lengthy run of performances back in June, and they are currently on the road in the US.
Later that month, Travis Barker, who frequently plays drums in his live band, was admitted to the hospital with pancreatitis. Later, the Blink-182 drummer showed up unexpectedly at Kelly’s concert in Los Angeles.
“Against his doctor’s orders AND with a broken thumb, I convinced @travisbarker to come join us for the last couple days [of the North American tour],” MGK wrote on Instagram Stories earlier this week.
The message was displayed next to a screenshot of a FaceTime video call between the two people. Barker announced his attendance at last night’s concert at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri, yesterday. He tweeted, “I’m impregnating the entire crowd at the @machinegunkelly show tonight,” followed by “With a broken thumb and torn tendons.”
Following a colonoscopy on June 28, Barker was admitted to the hospital with pancreatitis. A few days later, he provided fans with a status update in which he claimed that he had been receiving “intensive treatment” and was “currently much better.”
Gun Machine On his current US tour, Kelly only has two shows left: Indianapolis (August 11) and Cleveland (August 13). Next month, he will start the European tour before making his way back to the UK and Ireland in October.
