Donald Trump is in Milwaukee to make final preparations for the Republican presidential nomination later this week after narrowly escaping an assassination attempt that prompted him and President Joe Biden to call for national unity and calm.
In a country already on edge, the shooting has raised fears of further political violence. Correspondent James Oliphant joins today’s Reuters World News podcast to weigh in on how the attack will impact the presidential race.
