A “laser machine” was stolen from a San Antonio business on Thursday, according to SAPD.
Two men were arrested following the theft of a $100,000 “laser machine,” according to the San Antonio Police Department.
At around 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of W. Bitters Rd., near Blanco Road, in the Shavano Park area.
Police were responding to a burglary alarm and, after watching surveillance video, detectives asked the public to be on the lookout for a suspect vehicle.
They later learned the suspects had switched vehicles. Officers patrolling the area near I-37 and Fair Avenue on the Southeast side spotted the second vehicle — a pickup truck with the laser machine strapped down in the truck bed.
Following a traffic stop, two suspects, identified as Justin Hill, 47, and Morocco Campbell, 44, were arrested before 1 p.m. and are facing burglary and felony theft harges.
The investigation is ongoing, according to SAPD.
