Former President Donald Trump is moving forward with his planned Tuesday announcement, pressing on with a third presidential run. His decision comes as members of his party continue to blame him for an unexpectedly poor midterm showing and some call for the party to move on. Some advisers had urged Trump to delay his planned announcement until after the Dec. 6 Senate runoff election in Georgia that could determine which party controls the Senate. Trump is rebuffing that advice as he finds himself in a position of extraordinary vulnerability after dominating the party, largely unchallenged, since he won the nomination in 2016.

WaterTalent LLC will provide the city with four skilled water operators to help beef up paltry staffing at the two treatment facilities. World leaders have a surfeit of swag and surprises awaiting them as they attend back-to-back-to-back summits in Asia starting this week. G-20 organizers say leaders will also be asked to wear colorful shirts made of a traditional Balinese fabric, similar to those that Indonesia gave out at the 2013 APEC meetings in which the country revived the on-again, off-again summit tradition of a “silly shirt” group photo.

The vote counting is taking days, but that’s not abnormal for Nevada, where a chunk of votes have previously not been tallied until after election night.
