A prominent vegan activist has clashed with a Perth restaurant’s celebrity chef following a ban on vegan patrons at the restaurant.
Tash Peterson, a twenty-nine-year-old controversial vegan activist, and others allegedly entered a restaurant in Connelly, a northern suburb of Perth, called Fyre Bar and Restaurant.
The incident was captured and uploaded onto Ms Peterson’s social media account.

Chef John Mountain, who is a celebrity – having been on the Great British Menu and in the kitchen with famous chefs such as Heston Blumenthal – was allegedly confronted by Ms Peterson.
She allegedly said the chef had “blood” on his “hands”.
On August the seventh, Ms Peterson will appear at the Joondalup Magistrates Court, facing charges such as disorderly behaviour and trespass.
Ms Peterson made a video statement via Instagram vowing to continue her protest.

“WAPOL have also charged me with disorderly conduct, trespass and refusal to leave a licenced venue as a result of this protest,” she said.
“This is the fourth time I’ve recieved a barring notice from every liquor licenced venue in Western Australia as a result of my activism.
“I don’t comply to this misuse of the law any longer. I will continue to protest at every business … You won’t stop me. Ever.”
