Christmas Day dining is selling out fast at venues across The Courier patch.
And with the run up to the big day in full swing, we’ve pulled together a list of places where you can still book your meal in Perth this year.
Whether you love dining out on Christmas or simply want to try something different – or a little less traditional – there are plenty of restaurants to enjoy your festive lunch or dinner in the city.
Although many venues are booking up fast, these ones still have space. And if you live in Tayside, be sure to check out our Dundee recommendations here.
Starting off with Eòlas at Murrayshall Country Estate, for £120 per person visitors can kick start their experience by enjoying a glass of champagne on arrival with canapes served in the Barossa Bar which boasts a magnificent crackling log fire.
Starters are then served and include options of pork knuckle, crab and cucumber salad or baked truffle custard, followed by an intermediate course of an artichoke velouté.
For mains you can tuck into roast turkey, Scotch fillet of beef, roast megrim sole, or ricotta and saffron tortellini.
You then get to sample a clementine cocktail jelly for pre dessert, and your meal will be rounded off with a dark chocolate torte, Christmas pudding, or cheese board for dessert.

If it’s Christmas Day lunch you are after, Leonardo Boutique Huntingtower Perth have just the menu.
Starting off with a glass of fizz on arrival, you’ll then be treated to a four-course meal in their restaurant.
At £80 per adult and £25 per child, the event starts at 1:30pm with starters including soup, ham and chicken terrine, slow braised beef and prawns with cured salmon.
A lemon sorbet intermediate course will then be served followed by mains of roast turkey breast, lamb shank, herb crusted hake, or mushroom and blue cheese wellington.
As for dessert, well, you are in for a treat with Christmas pudding, raspberry crème brûlée or sherry trifle available. You’ll then be able to sit back and relax with coffee or tea and mince pies to finish.

Mains such as roast turkey, pigs in blankets, a fillet of salmon, or roast sirloin of Scotch beef, will leave you salivating. Don’t worry if you’re veggie, there’s a great vegetarian dish of the day for alternative diets.
And to round off the meal, desserts include Christmas pudding, a fresh strawberry pavlova, apple and cinnamon crème brûlée or shortbread and vanilla ice cream.

A three-course meal and a glass of prosecco can be enjoyed at The Maltings this Christmas for £59.99 per person.
With a choice of five starters you can look forward to cheese soufflé, per peri chicken skewers, pan fried mushrooms and spinach, or chargrilled black tiger prawns, which is a little different to the traditional starter options you’d expect to see.
However, it’s all about tradition when you get to your main course as you can enjoy a hard carved turkey with all the trimmings, a root vegetable and nut roast, seabass fillets with prawns or a fillet surf and turf steak .
For those who love pudding, the venue has chocolate fondant, a triple chocolate sundae, lemon tart, a cheese board or a traditional Christmas pudding to pick from.
