FOREST, Va. (WSET) — A senior student in Forest and her friend are going viral on TikTok after her car went up in flames right before graduation over the weekend.
Raziah Stanley submitted photos of the blaze, as well as a photo of her dressed in a cap and gown standing in front of the flaming vehicle.
"My car blew up on the way to graduation," Stanley told WSET.
In a TikTok labeled "happy graduation day!!" shared by Stanley's friend, Norah Tyree, she asks Stanley, "Um, I think something's wrong with your car?"
Stanley replies with a straight face, "Oh no, it just does that sometimes."
In the background, you can see the car engulfed in flames with smoke billowing out.
Since posting, the video has amassed more than 720,000 likes, 2,000+ comments, and over 5,600 shares.
In the comments, Tyree shared that both she and Stanley "still made it to graduation on time tho."
Firefighters said they believe the cause for the fire was an electrical short, but there was too much damage to make a complete assessment.
